Easter at my place!

Dear people, who will be full of spring spirit on the 24th of April and will be willing to give and receive some joy – i invite you all to eggs’ painting no.2! To let you know a little bit about the traditions of eggs’ painting in Lithuania and i guess some other countries in Eastern Europe (no offence, but the western world now usually leaves these kinds of things for kids and stickers), i can tell you that it all comes down to a family perception and traditions in Easter. My family – my mum and me – would always do it very attentivelly and with a lot of passion. We would prepare anything what can be found green from outside (spring comes usually late in LT), gather loads of peels of onions, some old socks and special paint. In some occasions – wax, but we won’t go there this time…

Let’s have fun with something that has been done for many years and many times and still brings joy!
